Today my ASP.NET MVC WEB API logged this exception:

The error was very easy to fix, but hard to find because in the debugger no exception popped up.
The error was, that I places json in the HTTP request body without specifyng the content type.
var json = JsonConvert.SerializeObject(dto);
var content = new StringContent(json, Encoding.UTF8, "application/json");
