When using Azure Container Registry (ACR) you will have to login to registry within docker environment. This sounds sometimes a bit wired, because AZR behaves as docker hub (implements moby registry interface), but it is not in the same time docker hub.
Following figure should clarify different namings between docker hub and ACR.
