described how to stop managed
debugging assistance in Visual Studio in a case of ContextSwitchDeadlock. Now,
from day to day I’m experiencing another frustrating Dialog which pop-ups
following message:
“An attempt has been
made to free an RCW that is in use. The
RCW is in use on the active thread or another thread. Attempting to free an in-use RCW can cause
corruption or data loss.”
To disable “unwanted assistance” go to Debug | Excpetions

If you are interested on the meaning of this message please
take a look here. Last
but not least, if you are interested on the list of all “crazy assistants” and
related errors take a “longer look” here.
