Visual Studio 2013 SQL Schema Compare not working

Hello,

me and some of my collegues had the issue that schema compare from Visual Studio 2013 Database project was not working, or wasn’t working everytime they needed it.
The solution for us was the “Microsoft SQL Server Update for database tooling”. Just click on the notification flag next to the quick launch textbox (top right in VS2013). Here you can find the Visual Studio Notifications, mostly updates for some tools, plugins or SDKs.

After this was installed schema compare should work.

I know that for most developers it looks like this (these are my Notifications):

But updating your tools you are working with everyday doesn’t hurt and doesn’t take much time
